Utility Top Force (FT) | D. Robbins & Co.

This is a very simple and very effective force of a color or number with a novel mechanical prop. It permits you to instantly set your force number or color right in front of the audience, and change this as often as you wish, enabling you to repeat the effect with different results.

This is a simple “TOP” – a familiar toy, with six numbers and colored segments printed on it as illustrated. It is given to a spectator to spin, and when it stops, the color section towards the bottom (or top) of the top is the “selected" color or number, and is entirely under your control.

Because of this instant set-up feature, you can spin the Top to show different results every time – then have a spectator spin it to arrive at your forced number or color.

With each mechanical Top we give you many ideas for its use. These vary from the very simple, like a psychic demonstration, having the Top match the numbers freely thrown on an ordinary die, to effects of the Just Chance genre, where a spectator gets five chances to win a prize.

Use it to force a page in a book for a Book Test, or any of the many other ideas given, or the ones you come up with, playing with the prop.
